ML WASTEWATER
A few years ago, a neighboring community was
faced with an environmental crisis. With failing septic tanks on the western shores of Lake Mille Lacs, the
city of Garrison was in desperate need of a solution
to its wastewater problem. With the best interests of the community in mind, the Band and Garrison worked together to formulate a plan to protect Lake Mille Lacs.

That plan resulted in construction of a state-of-the-art wastewater treatment facility. ML Wastewater Management, Inc. is a non-profit Corporation owned by the Corporate Commission with its own board of directors, and will serve more than 10,000 community members near the lake.


No county or state money was spent to construct this plant.
